Shader Final

so for my final in shader programming we had to insert a CG element into a photograph. It was really hard but really fun. The lighting was especially tricky. I always seem to pick difficult lighting schemes for all of my projects. You'd think I would learn my lesson and go with something a little easier my first time around. There are a few things I would like to change before I put this in my reel but overall I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. I took the photo outside of my apartment if anyone was wondering.

So now that it's been about ten months since my last post I think it's about time for me to put some new stuff up. These are some animal designs for Ryan's Character Design class. I promise to be better about updating my blog.

Sketchbook stuff

Here are some pages from my most recent sketchbooks. while I was putting these together I came to the realization that I draw a lot of heads particularly female heads. I also discovered the joys of markers. I'm rather pleased with how they turned out. yay prismacolor.

Arts and Crafts

I was sick and tired of looking at those refrigerant magnet advertisements that come with every phone book so some friends and I sat down last night and painted them. It's been so long since I've done some good old arts and crafts.

First Time for Everything

Over the break I thought I try my hand at digital painting in Photoshop. I'm pretty pleased with the flowers and most of the background. Any tips and advice would be greatly appreciated.
